Frontier Announces COO Resignation

Frontier Airlines today announced its Chief Operating Officer, Sean Menke, will resign to accept
a position as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at
Montreal-based Air Canada.“Sean has been a tremendous contributor to Frontier’s success, and we
appreciate his efforts in helping the airline through enormous periods of
growth and industry challenges,” said Frontier President and CEO Jeff Potter.
“His accomplishments at Frontier are many.  His vision helped to create
Frontier’s award-winning branding and advertising campaigns and most recently,
he helped bring Frontier to a new level of operating efficiency that has made
Frontier one of the nation’s leading low-cost carriers.”
  Menke has more than 13 years of aviation industry experience.  Menke
joined Frontier in January 1999 as Director of Marketing and Planning.  In May
of 2000 he was promoted to Vice President of Planning and Revenue Management
and in November of 2003, he was named Senior Vice President of Marketing.  In
July of 2004, he was named as Frontier’s Chief Operating Officer where he led
the day-to-day operational organization of the airline including customer
service, maintenance, flight operations and reservations in addition to
Frontier’s marketing and branding initiatives.
  Immediately prior to joining Frontier, he served as senior planner,
domestic schedule planning at United Airlines.  Prior to that, he served as
director of planning at Colorado Springs-based Western Pacific Airlines.  His
aviation experience also includes several positions with America West
Airlines, including senior analyst, market development, economic analyst,
planning and customer service supervisor and agent.
  Menke holds an executive MBA from the University of Denver, Daniels
College of Business and dual bachelor’s degrees in economics and aviation
management from Ohio State University.
