Beginning June 4, 2005, weekend getaways to Jamaica from Cincinnati will be easier than ever with the launch of a new Delta service to Montego Bay. The scheduled Saturday and Sunday service, will be Delta’s second route to Jamaica, in addition to the Atlanta gateway.  Increased capacity will be available from Atlanta as Delta moves from a B737 to a B767 aircraft, providing an additional 102 seats daily as of June 1.The outbound Delta flight (#220) departs on Saturdays from Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) at 9:10 a.m. and arrives at Sangster International Airport (MBJ) in Montego Bay at 11:35 a.m. From Jamaica, the returning flight (#227) departs Sundays at 12:55 p.m. and arrives in Cincinnati at 5:23 p.m.

“We are extremely excited to increase our airlift with Delta. Airlines recognise Jamaica’s appeal as a vacation destination for families and other niches and have responded. With this summer travel season coming up, the new flights will help meet the demand of the Midwest region travellers,” said Paul Pennicook, Director of Tourism for Jamaica.
