at home, with an online “Sleepstakes” featuring a Sleep Number bed
giveaway. The “What’s Your Sleep Number? Sleepstakes” was created to
highlight the brand’s wide-reaching introduction of a custom-designed
Sleep Number bed that is currently being installed at over 230 Radisson
hotels and resorts throughout the United States, Canada and the Caribbean. To build awareness of the Sleep Number bed available exclusively at
Radisson, each week the brand will give away one Sleep Number 5000 bed,
king or queen-size as desired by the Sleepstakes winner, for a total of 17
weeks throughout the summer. The Grand Prize features $10,000 for the
winner to use toward a bedroom makeover and includes a Sleep Number

Unlike traditional innerspring mattresses, the firmness of a Sleep
Number bed can be adjusted at the touch of a button, allowing
individuals to find their Sleep Number—a number between zero and 100
that represents each person’s ideal level of mattress comfort, firmness
and support.

According to Yvonne La Penotiere, executive vice president of brand
marketing for Carlson Hotels Worldwide, parent company of Radisson Hotels
& Resorts, the “Sleepstakes” calls attention to the new Sleep Number
beds being installed at Radisson hotels over the next two years. She
explains that Radisson formed a partnership with Select Comfort in
2004 to support the hotel brand’s mission to enable guest choice. Radisson
provides guests with custom-designed Sleep Number beds, each adjustable
for firmness and support to achieve each individual guest’s personal level
of comfort.

“Today’s travelers want more individual control over their travel and
hotel experience,” said La Penotiere. “What better way than to be able to
