US Airways Launches Barcelona Services

US Airways today begins
its new daily nonstop service between Philadelphia and Barcelona,
providing customers convenient access to the unique architecture and
culture of the Catalan region of Spain. The inaugural flight will depart Philadelphia at 8:15 p.m., and will
arrive in Barcelona at 10:05 a.m., the following morning. The return
flight will depart Barcelona at 12:35 p.m., the following day, and will
arrive in Philadelphia at 3:30 p.m. The seasonal Barcelona service is
flown using Boeing 767-200ER aircraft with 176 seats in Coach Class and 23
seats in Envoy Class, and will operate daily through Oct. 29, 2005.

Also this month, US Airways will resume its seasonal summer service to
Dublin, Glasgow, and Shannon, and began new nonstop service to Venice on
May 9, 2005.

US Airways is Philadelphia’s largest carrier, offering 494 nonstop daily
departures to over 100 destinations. In addition to its seasonal European
schedule, US Airways operates year-round service between Philadelphia and
Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, Madrid, Manchester, Munich, Paris and Rome.
