Hilton Garden Inn Addresses Fitness
Finding time to work out can be a huge challenge, especially for travelers on the go. Starting today and to celebrate May as National Physical Fitness and Sports Month, guests staying at participating Hilton Garden Inn hotels now have an easier way to incorporate a workout option while on the road with the introduction of the brand’s complimentary Stay Fit Kit and in-room fitness programming, now available at Hilton Garden Inn hotels throughout North America.
With the government’s recently released recommendation for American adults to get a minimum of 30 minutes of moderate to intense physical activity daily, business and leisure travelers, alike, can now maintain their routines in any city. And for frequent travelers to leisure guests, alike, maintaining an exercise routine while on the road has become a huge priority for many travelers, often helping to increase energy and performance.
“At Hilton Garden Inn, we’ve taken our fitness offering to a whole new level by giving guests a menu selection for maintaining their workout routines while on the road. So whether guests choose to check-out a complimentary Stay Fit Kit from the front desk, select an exercise class from the hotel’s in-room entertainment programming or spend time in our hotel’s complimentary workout facility, we are able to meet the fitness needs to fit every body,” said Mark Nogal, vice president—marketing for Hilton Garden Inn. “Staying fit is an essential part of many travelers’ physical and mental health and our new workout option is just one more way we’re helping our guests get the most of their hotel experience.”
Created by GAIAM for Hilton Garden Inn, the Stay Fit Kit contents were specially selected because of their ability to provide guests with a more isometric and core body workout.
The Stay Fit Kits are accompanied by instructions and exercises for each piece of workout equipment. Guests can use the Stay Fit Kit contents in the privacy of their guest rooms or in the hotel’s complimentary workout facility. In addition to using the Stay Fit Kit equipment by itself, guests also have the option of purchasing a fitness program and workout from their in-room entertainment programming to add some motivation and variety to their routines. Choices such as “Yoga,” “Pilates,” “Core” and “General Fitness” are offered at an affordable price, making this a great option for travelers at all fitness levels. Each workout ranges from 25 - 30 minutes in length.
