EarthFirst Technologies Gets Bahamas Contract For Mega-Yacht Marina
EarthFirst Technologies, Incorporated a specialised holding company engaged in researching, developing and commercialising technologies for the production of alternative fuel sources and the destruction and/or remediation of liquid and solid waste, and in supplying electrical contracting services internationally, yesterday announced that the Company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Electric Machinery Enterprises, Inc. (EME), has been awarded an electrical services contract, valued at approximately $1.2 million, by Emerald Bay Resorts, Ltd. The contract is associated with the scheduled construction of a mega-yacht marina on Great Exuma, Bahamas, a 75-minute flight from South Florida. Currently, the Emerald Bay Resort on Great Exuma is home to a Greg Norman Signature Golf Course and a Four Seasons resort hotel.
The planned additions to the resort include the mega-yacht marina (slips can accommodate 80’ and larger super yachts) and marina village, complete with fine and casual dining restaurants, residential properties, upscale lodging and retail stores.
