Pegasus Solutions signed more than 150 new European hotels to its hotel representation service in the first quarter of 2005. The company announced the new additions at the annual Hotel Electronic Distribution Network Association global conference in Barcelona.

Pegasus’ ongoing initiatives to generate bookings in Europe continue to drive positive results for participating hotels.  “In the first quarter of 2005, the number of room nights booked via Utell by Pegasus increased by 33 percent,” said Philippe Bourgeois, manager of the Hotel Aviatic in Paris.  “We’ve also received more guests from Latin America and Spain as a result of Pegasus marketing the Hotel Aviatic to bookers via its Sao Paolo and Madrid voice offices.”  The K and K Cayré Hotel, another Utell by Pegasus member in Paris, registered a 52 percent increase in revenue in the first quarter.
