Abu Dhabi’s newest hotel has become the first regional member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts Worldwide.
According to Abdulla Al Romaithi, managing director of Danat Hotels & Resorts, the company managing Al Raha Beach, the rating means the resort will be recognised worldwide as an oasis of luxury and global service standards.
“Membership of Preferred Hotels ® gives us access to worldwide reservations and marketing programmes, a link to the travel trade and potential customers and a strategic partnership that provides an excellent platform to build business,” he said.
The announcement of Al Raha Beach Hotel’s affiliation with the global brand coincides with the latter’s new marketing focus on the Middle East as part of an overall strategy to strengthen membership outside of the United States.
Al Raha Beach Hotel is operated by Danat Hotels & Resorts, the umbrella brand for the hotel division of National Corporation for Tourism & Hotels (NCT&H).
