Eden Rock launches promotional rate

Eden Rock resort on the French Caribbean island of St Barth’s, is launching a special summer promotion which, in some cases, sees room costs almost halved. Between 1 May and 28 August a one night stay in a cottage on the Rock will now cost from €295 per person instead of €410 while a premium suite will cost €470 instead of €910.
Included in the room price is champagne breakfast everyday, a private hire car with which to discover the island plus snorkelling and kayak equipment.

The famous Relais & Chateaux member resort reopened at Christmas after the completion of the first phase of a 10million euro refurbishment.

During the summer work on phase two of the project, a neighbouring new wing, will continue.

Although the site has been cleverly screened by man made sand dunes which will also deaden building noise, a decision has been made to offer guests the opportunity to stay at significantly reduced rates whilst the work is carried out.

Summer guests will be able to enjoy all Eden Rock’s facilities including the redesigned restaurants the ‘On-The-Rocks’ for dinner and ‘The Sand Bar’ for lunch, a chic boutique, an art gallery where guests are encouraged to paint the stunning views across the beach and Baie de St Jean and an outdoor fitness area.

Also included in Phase One of the resort refurbishment was the construction of the now open 1500 sq ft Howard Hughes Loft, built on top of the iconic main house and named after the famous American aviator, businessman and Hollywood film producer who visited Eden Rock in the 1950’s.

In addition to this new apartment, another of Eden Rock’s famous suites Garbo (named after the silver screen legend who also used to get away from it all at Eden Rock under her alias Harriet Brown) has been redesigned in a style reflecting the classic Hollywood era.
