Four Points by Sheraton, Starwood Hotels & Resorts’ moderately-priced brand announces two new properties in Puerto Rico - the Four Points by Sheraton Palmas Del Mar Resort and the Four Points by Sheraton Caguas Real Hotel and Suites. Opening today, the Four Points by Sheraton Palmas Del Mar Resort follows the Four Points by Sheraton Caguas Real Hotel and Suites which opened in November and was the brand’s first property to debut on the island. Both hotels are owned by Airport Shoppes and Hotel Corporation and operate under the umbrella of Puerto Rico’s leading tourism, aviation services and food and beverage corporate conglomerate - Empresas Santana. Conveniently located in Humacao Town, the Four Points by Sheraton Palmas Del Mar Resort is situated on the southeast coast of the island approximately 45 miles from Old San Juan and less than an hour from Luis Munoz International Airport. The hotel, which is adjacent to a beautiful stretch of white sandy beach, features 107 spacious guestrooms, a third of which feature ocean views. Sebastin, the hotel’s signature restaurant offers regional cuisine and is open for both lunch and dinner.

The hotel also contains 5,000 square feet of meeting space and features a fitness center, whirlpool, and outdoor infinity-edged swimming pool surrounded by lush tropical scenery. A wine boutique located in the lobby, offers guests a diverse selection of wines from around the world. Adjacent to the hotel are two world-class golf courses, tennis courts, equestrian facilities, beach facilities and more than 17 restaurants surrounding the complex including a Casino Lounge.

The Four Points by Sheraton Caguas Real Hotel and Suites opened in November of last year and is conveniently located within a 35-minute drive of San Juan International Airport. The 126-room hotel features 34 suites, two restaurants, dramatic swimming pool and 18 holes of golf. When completed in December 2005, the $7.5 million, 12,000 square-foot casino will be Puerto Rico’s largest and newest casino with breathtaking views of the golf course and surrounding mountain range.
