Get some wind in your sails for Tobago Sail Week

Hoist the sails and cast off the anchor for the 23rd Annual Angostura Tobago Sail Week. With excellent sailing conditions, pristine beaches and a laid back island attitude, Tobago is the place to be for the competitive yet always convivial sailing challenge as well as the ‘limin’ spot for spectators and race enthusiasts from May 8th - 13th, 2005.
Known to many as the “friendliest regatta” in the Caribbean, Tobago Sail Week will be held at the Crown Point Hotel at Store Bay. During the course of the four racing days, yachtsmen will compete in the following categories: racing, cruiser-racer, cruising, charter and comfort cruising.

While racing is the main attraction, the regatta also boasts an atmosphere of “fun in the sun” most evident at the Regatta Village and especially during “Lay Day”, the Wednesday between races, where there is live music, food, drink and merriment.

Named after Angostura Limited, one of the largest distillers in the
Caribbean and headquartered in Port of Spain, Trinidad, the regatta attracts both the serious racer and the fun-seeking sailor from around the world including the United States, United Kingdom, France, South Africa and Hong Kong as well as many Caribbean islands.
