Delta Brings Tropical Breezes Closer
Delta Air Lines customers
planning vacations in sunny, south-of-the-border locations will enjoy more
frequent nonstop flight options from the airline’s Cincinnati and Salt
Lake City hubs just in time for this year’s summer travel season. - Effective June 1, Delta will expand to daily its nonstop service
between Cincinnati and Cancun and between Salt Lake City and Cancun, adding to existing weekend service from both hubs; and
- Beginning June 4, Delta will introduce its first-ever nonstop service
between Cincinnati and Montego Bay, Jamaica, with one round-trip flight
on Saturdays and Sundays—bringing to 11 the number of international
destinations served from Cincinnati by Delta and Delta Connection
carrier Comair.
Customers can visit delta.com immediately to make reservations for the new
flights between Cincinnati and Montego Bay, while the additional weekday
service to Cancun will be available for sale beginning April 2. Flights in
both markets will be operated using Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
“Delta is pleased to continue to expand service to customers between two
of our largest hubs and increasingly popular destinations in Mexico and
the Caribbean,” said James Sarvis, Delta’s director—Latin America and
Caribbean. “This growth supports our recently announced transformation
strategy of providing more service to more customers on the most popular
international routes.”
In recent months Delta has expanded its presence throughout Latin America
and the Caribbean with new or increased service to Belize City, Belize;
Buenos Aires, Argentina; Cabo San Lucas and Cozumel, Mexico; Liberia and
San Jose, Costa Rica; Nassau, Bahamas; Providenciales, Turks and Caicos;
Santiago, Dominican Republic (effective May 1); Sao Paulo, Brazil; and St.
Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands.
