Following yesterdays reporting on the USVI Hotel & Tourism Association (VIHTA) and American Airlines joining forces and offering a travel agent incentive promotion to book travel between St. Thomas and St. Croix on American Eagle Caribbean Travel News can today report that Luana Wheatley has been appointed to the new post of director of marketing for the U.S. Virgin Islands Hotel & Tourism Association.For the last nine years, Wheatley managed the PR for the USVI but was recently replaced by Joan Blloom who took over the account earlier this year.
