America West FlightFund Program Goes Down Under

America West Airlines , the
nation’s second largest low-cost carrier, today announced an exciting
expansion to its award-winning frequent flyer program, FlightFund.
Effective today, FlightFund customers can apply their miles for travel
from any city America West serves to Sydney, Australia. Customers will
connect via another popular FlightFund destination—Hawaii—on
FlightFund partner Hawaiian Airlines. “The reach of the FlightFund program is very important to our customers,”
said Travis Christ, vice president, marketing. “Our new Sydney option is a
perfect example of how America West differentiates itself from any other
low-cost carrier. We’re the only low-fare carrier with a frequent flyer
program that offers redemption worldwide to all of its members.”

Travel to Australia also provides a great way for FlightFund customers to
earn miles, as members earn a minimum of 14,000 miles by purchasing
roundtrip travel from the contiguous 48 states to Sydney via Honolulu on
Hawaiian Airlines. Domestic award travel starts at only 15,000 FlightFund
miles.

To book award travel to Australia, FlightFund customers should call the
FlightFund Service Center at 800-247-5691. FlightFund miles may be
redeemed for award travel to more than 300 destinations on six continents.

industry, with domestic award travel beginning at 15,000 miles year-round.
FlightFund has more than 50 partners to help members earn miles for award
