The Angelus Resort St.Kitts Partners with Award Winning Chef
The Angelus Resort Spa, located on Frigate Bay St.Kitts is pleased to
announce that they have partnered with the world-class culinary creations of
Executive Chef David Miller. The distinguished chef oversees two dining
outlets at the resort, including Le Caribe’ where his New Pacific Rim tapa’s
specialties range from Seared Ahi Tuna Tar Tare with Coconut Rice with Asian
Ginger Glaze or Hibachi Style Grilled Salmon with Asian slaw and blood
orange ponzu to Chilled Lobster. At the main dinning room at Le Caribee
guests will feast on Lemongrass skewered grilled lobster with white balsamic
goat cheese drizzle or lime infused grilled salmon with Asian slaw, blood
orange ponzu. The menu feature over 20 items with a Caribbean and pan Asian
influence.
Executive Vice President Scott Ward stated “we did a international search
for a great chef” Classically trained at The Culinary Institute of America,
and The International School of Confectionary Sugars, Miller started his
career as the Private Chef in the Hilton’s Private Home on Sunset Key, then
moved to work for major hospitality companies including the Marriott
Resorts, and Syrah International. The gourmet guru has had the opportunity
to work for four different Certified Master Chefs by the ACF of which there
are only 56. Chef David has participated in national and international
culinary events, earning the coveted Skills USA Gold Medal for the State of
Florida in 1999 beating out over 1700 of Florida’s Top Chefs, where he later
placed in the top 10 in the United States at only the age of 18. He has also
participated in numerous culinary events at the prestigious James Beard
House in New York City.
Miller recently completed his first cookbook, The Art of A Dinner Party,
which enables readers to recreate the intimate dining experience and savory
cuisine. This book was published by The Kennedy Company in association with
Barn’s and Noble.
