Pegasus Introduces New Service for European Travel Agencies

The addition of the Lockbox service allows Pegasus to offer large European travel agencies an end-to-end outsource solution for the management of all hotel commissions.Ê The new service is designed for agencies with a minimum of $300,000 in annual hotel commissions.Ê
Pegasus captures and consolidates information and commissions from 35,000 participating hotels and sends detailed reports and consolidated commission payments to member agencies.Ê Online and traditional agencies that book substantial numbers of hotel rooms can enhance their collection of earned commissions by upgrading to the Electronic Reconciliation and Tracking Service.
Member agencies benefit from having one vendor that is efficiently handling the accounting, tracking, reporting and receipt of all hotel reservation and commission transactions, freeing agency staff to pursue other revenue generating activities.Ê The service provides online reporting, allowing agency staff to analyze hotel commission payment patterns and other data that can guide decisions such as screen placement and preferred partner status.
