travel bookings are being made online, with Solmar Villas reporting its
online bookings accounting for 75% in 2004.

All properties on the Solmar Villas website are now exclusive to the
company, with the website’s new real time search and booking engine ensuring
customers secure their preferred holiday instantly, without having to wait
for confirmations. 

With 26.8 million Britons now connected to the Web (NOP World September
2004), the online travel market is predicted to reach 17% of the total £28
billion UK travel sector by 2007.  The travel sector already receives the
highest proportion of visits from search engines at 38%, ahead of shopping
and banking, underlining the decision by Solmar Villas to focus on the
online presence of their 2005 programme.

The Solmar Villas website features details on all properties, including
