won by entering the airline’s holiday contest found on Lufthansa’s U.S.
website http://www.lufthansa-usa.com/.Lufthansa has launched an online holiday contest which will run until
December 24, 2004. All visitors to the airline’s U.S. website will be
taken on a virtual, interactive trip around the world where they get the
chance to learn how the holidays are celebrated in selected regions of
different countries.

When navigating on Lufthansa’s interactive holiday map and finding the
correct destination—indicated by a snowflake which turns into a star—
a different surprise will come up each day. Either a quiz question, a
special holiday recipe, a goodie to download, an exotic holiday custom and
more will be hidden behind each of the selected Lufthansa destinations
around the world. In addition, by answering the quiz questions correctly,
the participant will “earn” a letter which will lead toward the solution
of the puzzle and the chance to win a pair of tickets.

Further daily prizes from Lufthansa’s online holiday contest include a
wine set, a backpack as well as a garment bag.
