Santa Clara Debuts Virtual Website

Being a major Silicon Valley
city, it only makes sense that Santa Clara’s new website has gone virtual.
Visitors to the new site at santaclara.org can visit the site’s “virtual
concierge” or see the entire Santa Clara Convention Center without leaving
their chair.

The virtual concierge gives visitors information on Attractions, Shopping,
Recreation, and Wineries. The virtual tour of the Santa Clara Convention
Center includes almost every area of the building. The Santa Clara site
also gives users the ability to book Silicon Valley hotel reservations
online and the opportunity to buy event tickets.

Chamber and CVB President Steve Van Dorn says, “It’s a one-stop shopping
web site. We’ve got something for everyone—consumers, travel trade,
meeting planners, and media.” The site was created by the Santa Clara
Chamber of Commerce and Convention-Visitors Bureau in conjunction with
Cardinal Communications.
