Electrobug Appoints Bruce W. Mainzer

Electrobug Technologies Ltd announced today that Bruce W.
Mainzer will lead Electrobug’s product sales and development in North
America.Electrobug is widely known for its suite of online data retrieval tools
for price tracking, currently in use at a number of retailers, airlines,
hotels, and travel agents throughout Europe. The new North American office
will expand Electrobug’s presence in the U.S. and Canadian markets.
Mainzer will focus his talents on continuing Electrobug’s commitment to
innovative products for pricing intelligence and revenue optimization.

wealth of knowledge in the hotel electronic distribution industry and has

considerable customer base in the US and Canada, so this office is
essential to serve our North American hotel clients with the highest
levels of service and to expand the reach of our technologically advanced
rate intelligence tools.”

Mainzer was previously Senior Vice President of Marketing with
TravelCLICK.  Prior to that, Mainzer was Vice President of Marketing for
Hyatt Hotels Corporation, and Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales
for Vail Resorts. At Norwegian Cruise Line in 1994 -1996, Mainzer
introduced the cruise industry’s first revenue management system and brand
Web site.  Mainzer began his travel industry career with United Airlines
where, as the airline’s director of revenue management, he developed the
airline industry’s first fully automated revenue management system and the
airline industry’s first origin and destination inventory control system.
Mainzer currently serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Revenue
and Pricing Management, and was recently named to the Property
Distribution Solution Workgroup of the Hotel Technology Next Generation
industry organization.

Electrobug recently rolled out its innovative Rate Change product,
enabling hotels to change rates and allocations on multiple extranets
through one interface. By integrating Rate Change with its Rate Check
product, Electrobug is offering hotels “One Click Rate Parity”, enabling
the rebalancing of third party channel rates against the brand web site or
GDS with the click of one button. The new Rate Parity Control product
enables hotel brands and chains to streamline workflow of unifying
individual property rates with corporate pricing and distribution
policies.
