MICROS Systems is proud to announce that Windsor Hoteis, a premier hotel chain in Brazil, is the first multi-property MICROS OPERA Property Management System and OPERA Sales and Catering installation with Oracle 9iRAC in South America. In addition, Windsor Hoteis will install OPERA Web Services Suite to manage all online reservations.
Windsor Hoteis became a MICROS customer in 1995 when it first installed MICROS’s Fidelio V6 property management system. As Windsor Hoteis has expanded over the last ten years, the chain’s multi-property technology needs have grown as well.

“Windsor Hoteis was looking for a system that could provide centralized reservations with a centralized database of guest profiles,” stated Jose Oreiro, President of Windsor Hoteis. “We desired to improve our sales department information, work flow, and efficiency without requiring an IT specialist on staff at the hotel level. MICROS OPERA provided Windsor Hoteis a true thin client centrally-hosted technology to manage the entire chain’s administration.”
