America West Shopping Incentive With SkyMall

America West Airlines today
announced a new on-board incentive shopping program with SkyMall Inc., the
largest in-flight catalog company in the United States. Available on all
of America West’s 584 daily flights, “Buy in the Sky” rewards customers of
the SkyMall catalog with a choice of two options: 10 FlightFund miles for
every dollar spent on SkyMall merchandise; or $20 off an order of $60 or
more. Passengers must use a special order form, available from any America
West flight attendant, and complete their order as instructed on the form
to take advantage of the special offer. There is no limit to the
FlightFund miles customers can earn. To enroll in FlightFund or for more
information, see “Our customers enjoy the option of in-flight shopping on board with
SkyMall,” said Anthony Mule, senior vice president, customer service.
“This arrangement enhances their convenience by providing yet another way
to earn miles in the FlightFund program—one of the most
customer-friendly frequent flyer programs in the industry.”

“SkyMall has always allowed busy travelers a convenient way to shop, but
now the new “Buy in the Sky” program with America West offers them the
added bonus of getting a great deal on SkyMall products or accumulating
FlightFund miles toward their next vacation,” says Christine Aguilera,
president of SkyMall. “In fact, customers who spend $1,500 earn the 15,000
miles needed for a free round-trip flight on America West.”

FlightFund miles may be redeemed for award travel to more than 300
destinations on five continents. FlightFund offers one of the most
generous frequent flyer programs in the industry, with domestic award
travel beginning at 15,000 miles year-round. FlightFund has more than 50
partners to help members earn miles for award travel including rental car
companies, hotels, restaurants as well as purchases on the FlightFund Visa
card. For more information, go to
