Rezidor SAS, the Brussels based multi-brand hospitality company, has signed a franchise agreement for another property in France, the Radisson SAS Hotel Biarritz. This is an existing Crowne Plaza hotel, which will be re-branded as of January 2005.

The hotel features 150 spacious well appointed guestrooms including nine junior suites, almost half of them facing the ocean. The Parisian interior architect Alain Marcot has created a special unique atmosphere, a perfect harmony between material, lines and a contemporary design.

The food and beverage facilities include a lounge bar and a gourmet restaurant. The restaurant ‘l’Hélianthe’ presents innovative and refined cuisine, a modern interpretation of classical Basque dishes, featuring the subtle and delicate flavours of the region, while the ‘Transat Café’ on the terrace gives the opportunity to taste Spanish cuisine.

For conferences, meetings and events, the hotel offers seven conference and meeting rooms, 420 square metres in total. A three level underground car park provides a private parking area for the hotel guests.

The hotel also features a Wellness centre with Hammam, Jacuzzi, Spa Jet, treatment rooms and a fitness area, a total of 500 square metres, as well as a roof terrace with a heated pool. The terrace gives an exceptional opportunity to enjoy the panoramic view over the Atlantic Ocean and the Pyrénées.
