InterContinental Hotels Group certifies Wotif.com

InterContinental Hotels Group continues to
lead the way in online distribution with today’s announcement that it has
certified Wotif.com as compliant with its groundbreaking Internet
distribution standard.
InterContinental Hotels Group certifies Wotif.comWotif.com joins Travelocity and Travelocity Business as preferred online
partners of InterContinental Hotels Group. The Group set its Internet
distribution standard in May this year, outlining how the Group wished to do
business with online travel companies.  The Group has stipulated that it will
now work only with third party online distributors that meet the standard.

As a certified partner, Wotif.com will be able to sell inventory from the
Group’s more than 3,500 hotels and resorts around the world, under brands
including InterContinental, Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn.

The Group is committed to working with distributors and affiliates that
always engage in clear marketing practices, respect the Group’s
trademarks, ensure reservations are guaranteed through an automated and
common confirmation process, and clearly present fees to consumers.
