Mississippi to Receive its First Staybridge Suites

InterContinental Hotels Group announced
today that a 92-room Staybridge Suites Hotel recently broke ground in
Ridgeland, Miss.  The all-suite hotel is another addition to the brand’s
growing portfolio of extended-stay hotels and is expected to open second
quarter 2005.The Staybridge Suites Jackson-Ridgeland is owned and managed by Little
Properties, Inc., under a license agreement with a company in the
InterContinental Hotels Group.

“We are pleased to announce the groundbreaking of the first Staybridge
Suites hotel in the state of Mississippi,” said Robert Radomski, vice
president, brand management, Staybridge Suites. “This hotel is the 5th
Staybridge Suites hotel to break ground this year and with the addition of the
Jackson-Ridgeland development to the existing portfolio of hotels and 50 in
development, the Staybridge Suites brand continues to move forward on a
path of accelerated growth,” said Radomski.

The $8 million all-suite property will be conveniently located off I-55 and
just minutes from key area attractions, which include the State Capitol,
Mississippi Coliseum and Fairgrounds, Jackson Zoo, Mississippi Sports Hall
of Fame and North Park Mall.  Several key businesses are also close by;
Nissan, University Medical Center, Skytel Communications, Bell South and
St. Dominic Hospital.

Guests at the new Staybridge Suites property can choose from three suite
options (deluxe studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom/two-bath).  All suites
feature in-room DVD/CD players, functional, well-lit work stations with
ergonomic seating, fully equipped kitchens, free high-speed internet access
and two-line speaker phones with voicemail and direct dial access.

The new 63,000 sq.-ft. hotel will offer several unique amenities such as
complimentary guest laundry and workout facilities, deluxe complimentary
breakfast buffet which includes two hot items, a 24-hour business services
center as well as an outdoor pool.  In addition, guests will enjoy gathering in
the hotels’ Great Room for nightly “Sundowner” receptions for refreshments,
light appetizers and conversation. Complimentary shuttle service to and
from area businesses will also be available.
