Summerwood Inn Again Wins AAA Four Diamond

Summerwood Inn, part of the
award-winning Summerwood Winery Estate, recently won AAA’s prestigious
Four Diamond Award for the outstanding quality of the property for the
tenth consecutive year. Summerwood Inn is the only property in the Paso
Robles wine country to receive such a high rating. The award, from the Automobile Club of Southern California (ACSC) which is
the largest affiliate of AAA, is received by fewer than 3% of the
estimated 25,000 AAA-rated lodging facilities rated by AAA’s tourism
editors.

“The AAA Four Diamond status represents a profound effort and
extraordinary accomplishment by Summerwood Inn,” said Charles Smith, the
Auto Club’s Approved Accommodations Manager, “This award signifies that a
property has met AAA’s objective rating criteria and has met levels of
excellence during extensive inspections. Four Diamond properties reflect a
high degree of hospitality and attention to detail.”

“At Summerwood Winery & Inn our goal is consistent—to provide a
completely luxurious and unparalleled wine country experience,” said
Director of Operations Andrea Boatman. “We are extremely pleased to have
again been rated so highly by AAA.”

Some of the other California properties that have received the AAA Four
Diamond Award in the past from either the ACSC or the AAA of Northern
California (AAANC), depending upon their location, include The Claremont
Resort & Spa (Berkeley), Carmel Valley Ranch (Carmel), Highlands Inn
(Carmel), Loews Coronado Bay Resort (Coronado), Hotel Bel Air (Los
Angeles), Silverado Country Club & Resort (Napa Valley), The Lodge at
Pebble Beach (Pebble Beach), Campton Place Hotel (San Francisco) and The
Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa (Sonoma). The AAANC will announce their
2005 Four Diamond winners in early December 2004.
