Joystar Signs Agreement With JurniNetwork

Joystar
announced today it has signed an
agreement with Sabre Travel Network’s consortium, Jurni Network.
Jurni Network will provide Joystar and its growing sales force of
home-based travel agents access to the industry’s most sophisticated
market intelligence, combined with a highly targeted marketing program.
Joystar’s agents will gain access to a wide range of leisure travel
products sourced from Travelocity, Site59 and Sabre Exclusives merchant
hotels, in addition to negotiated products from numerous preferred
suppliers.

“As a member of the Jurni consortium, we will benefit from the power of
Sabre Holdings, the world’s largest travel commerce company, to negotiate
deals and higher margins. They distribute more than $80 billion in travel
products each year providing our growing company advantages and insight
unavailable from any other partner in the industry,” said William
Alverson, Joystar CEO.

Both exclusive deals and unique market intelligence database are
integrated into a single, easy-to-use booking tool that is designed to
interface with all four GDSs and popular booking interfaces. Alverson
added, “For our growing network of experienced home-based travel agents,
there’s almost nothing new to learn. They don’t even have to change their
GDS affiliation. When they log into the Network, they can choose which GDS
they would prefer to use and continue to book as normal.”

Joystar agents can easily book any inventory from any supplier. They are
automatically guided to the inventory from preferred suppliers that
generate the highest yield. “Similar to the way Joystar isn’t just a
travel agency—it’s an entirely new model for travel distribution; Jurni
Network isn’t just a new consortium—it’s an entirely new kind of
consortium,” he said.
