HMC Helps Hotel Launch Sterling Club

Newport Beach, California. Hospitality Marketing Concepts (HMC), the world’s leading provider of travel industry membership and database management programs, has launched a private label membership program, Sterling Club, for the new Sutton Place Hotel in Edmonton, Canada.
The 313-room Edmonton property is the newest addition to the Sutton Place Hotels Group, which boasts a portfolio of luxury properties in Vancouver, Toronto, Chicago and Newport Beach. With a $5 million upgrade close to completion, the Sutton Place Hotel Edmonton reaches out to the business community with the launch of Sterling Club

The Sterling Club is a paid membership program which indulges its members with a complimentary overnight stay, unlimited complimentary dining at the Capitals Restaurant when accompanied by one or more paying guests, and discounts in the lounge and private banquets.

“We have seen tremendous success with the Sterling Club in our Newport Beach and Vancouver properties,” said Richard Wong, general manager of the Sutton Place Hotel Edmonton. Wong is an 18-year veteran with the Sutton Place Hotels Group and has held management positions at the Vancouver, Toronto and Newport Beach properties. “This is a great way for us to tell the public that Sutton Place is proud to be part of the Edmonton business community and that we want them to have their business luncheons, meetings, and special occasion celebrations with us.”

By providing room and dining benefits to CLUBHOTEL® members, the Sutton Place Hotel Edmonton will also have access to a substantial international marketing database consisting mainly of senior executives, professionals and business travelers.
