Hotel Information Systems Launches New Software

(HIS), a division of MAI Systems Corporation, announces the release of epitome version 3.02 to help hoteliers manage their operations more effectively.epitome PMS/CRS/CIS version 3.02 is the latest software version for the Microsoft Windows platform that provides time-saving enhancements and new features that enable single and multiple property hotels to improve property management, maximize revenue and grow market share. Version 3.02 includes enhanced Contacts and Events Manager modules, foreign currency processing and package operations as well as new functionality with Back Office Extract and Complimentary Certificates.
Enhanced features in the Contacts and Events Manager modules provide cost-effective tools for scheduling catering events and configuring and viewing them by room, date and time. Properties can process foreign currency with greater flexibility by assigning a base currency in the Central Reservation/Central Information systems, locking-in the exchange rate at a property and using currency configuration settings that eliminate the dependency on Regional Settings. Defining package features such as item limits, allowances and item categories offers greater customization for your client’s needs.

With the same quality and ease-of-use as previous versions, new features in Version 3.02 extend the capabilities of hotels to provide better guest services in a Windows environment. Greater sales trend analysis is now available with the new Back Office Extract, which enables the export of daily sales and detailed transaction reports. In addition, Complimentary Certification provides an easy management tool for issuing, redeeming and tracking complimentary certificate functionality for multiple locations to increase sales potential and improve guest loyalty. In this latest version, epitome PMS now integrates with epitome handheld for remote check-in as well as epitome Self Express Kiosk for guest self check-in, improving guest service.
