Seats at the Monte Carlo Millions are acquired in only one of two ways: by invitation from Matt Savage, or through a satellite. Satellites began on June 21st and will last until October and will include free-roll tournaments. Past satellite winners include Florida resident Rose Richie, the last woman standing at this year’s World Series of Poker.  Richie won her chance to compete in the 2004 WSOP on  She vows that the skills she developed playing online enabled her to outperform many of the professional players she went up against.  Richie placed an amazing 98th out of a field of more than 2,500, parlaying a $22 investment into $20,000.

The tournament will take place at the Cafe de Paris’ Bellevue Room, with its spectacular 360-degree view of Monte Carlo and the Mediterranean Sea.

Another first in poker history, will hold a separate tournament for all players who do not make the final table, in which every participant will win a cash prize.
