Qatar Airways has increased its flight frequency to Moscow from three flights a week to four times a week. In addition the airline has also upgraded the aircraft used on this sector to an A320, which has a total seating capacity of 144 seats versus the A319, which was previously used to fly to the Russian city. “We have also changed our flight operations from Sheremetyevo Airport to Domodedovo Airport, which will allow for easy, and more efficient access to all of our passengers,” said Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Airways Mr. Akbar Al Baker.

“Domodedovo Airport offers a range of facilities and services such as train services that operates directly from the airport to the city, making it easy and convenient for our passengers to travel.

“With such a positive response since the inauguration of our service to Moscow a year ago, we are keen to further promote both, our services and Qatar as a destination of interest to the Russian people.

“The Russian people are becoming great travelers and we are keen to use this opportunity to raise awareness of Qatar Airways with both the travel industry and the Russian people,” added Mr. Al Baker.

Qatar Airways flights to Moscow on Wednesdays and Sundays leaves Doha at 08.05 hrs, arriving in Moscow at 14.15 hrs. On Fridays and Saturdays flight QR866 leaves Doha at 11.35 hrs, arriving in Moscow at 17.45 hrs.

Return flights leave Moscow on Wednesdays and Sundays at 15.15 hrs, arriving back at Doha International Airport at 19.35 hrs (QR869). On Fridays and Saturdays flight QR867 leaves Moscow at 18.50 hrs, arriving in Doha at 23.10 hrs.
