Customers Asked - Delta Delivers

Delta Air Lines customers will
have more flight choices to some popular international destinations with
new service beginning this winter. In response to strong customer demand,
the carrier will add:
* A second daily flight from New York-JFK to Mumbai, India, via Frankfurt
from Oct. 31 to Feb. 27, 2005; * A second daily flight to San Jose, Costa
Rica, beginning Dec. 1; and * A second daily flight to Sao Paulo, Brazil,
beginning Dec. 1

“Today we are responding to the heavy demand for more flights to Mumbai,
San Jose and Sao Paulo with additional service,” said Jorge Fernandez,
Delta’s vice president-International and Alliances. “Through our own
service and our codeshare and alliance partners, Delta remains committed
to providing customers with service to the world’s most-desired
destinations. Delta continues to see strong international growth, with
full airplanes and high customer demand to some of the most wide-ranging
points we serve.”

Delta will operate its daily direct flight between New York-JFK and Mumbai
with Boeing 767-300ER aircraft, with capacity for 204 passengers in a two-
class configuration. The new seasonal flight will travel through
Frankfurt, complementing Delta’s existing service to Mumbai from
Paris-Charles de Gaulle and adding additional service for Frankfurt
customers.
