CTC-27 is coming: get ready for a champion line-up

It is official the Caribbean Tourism Organisation (CTO) and the island of Aruba have begun preparing for the 27th annual Caribbean Tourism Conference (CTC-27). This year’s conference program will run from Monday October 18th to Wednesday 20th, with the opening ceremony set for Sunday evening, October 17th. Under the theme ‘Caribbean Tourism: Driving Business in the Global Economy’, one of the region’s leading tourism education and networking events will place large emphasis on the development of inventive and novel tourism-related programs that will hopefully help drive business to the Caribbean.

CTO’s General Secretary Jean Holder indicated that the theme promotes a message that sustaining the growth that has been achieved in recent months cannot be achieved without innovative ideas and a genuine focus on creating and investing in new opportunities for business.

The business gatherings, which include meetings of the Ministers and Directors of Tourism and the CTO Board of Directors, will run from Friday, October 15th to Sunday 17th October 2004.
