Point Transfers to GlobalPass Reach Record High

GlobalPass, a mileage-based consumer-frequency program with an interactive online tool, today reported that customers transferred more than 12 million miles from customer-loyalty programs of major credit cards and hotel companies to GlobalPass in May.

The point transfers, which previously averaged 5 million a month, reached a record high since GlobalPass’ establishment of relationships with other customer-loyalty programs in the mid-1990s.


“Customers are converting points from other programs into GlobalMiles? to take advantage of our online booking engine,” said Guy Booth, president and CEO of GlobalPass.Ê “It’s a simple equation - points become miles that customers can redeem for airline tickets with absolutely no capacity control restrictions or limitations.”Ê
