Delta SkyWish Teams With Boys & Girls Clubs

Delta Air Lines has designated
Boys & Girls Clubs of America as the third SkyWish Charity of the Quarter
for 2004. SkyMiles program members may contribute miles to support the
organization’s efforts to promote and enhance the development of boys and
girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and
influence. “With the help of our SkyMiles program members, we look forward to making
a positive impact on the lives of millions of young people,” said Patrice
Miles, Delta’s vice president of Marketing. “Boys & Girls Clubs provide a
safe place to learn and grow - all while having fun. Its mission supports
Delta’s goal to support underprivileged youth.”

The mission of Boys & Girls Clubs is to inspire and enable all young
people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize
their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. The
Clubs are designed solely for youth programs and activities and are open
every day, after school and on weekends, to provide positive, productive
outlets when kids have free time. The Clubs serve millions of young people
each year in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands as well as
domestic and international military bases.

“Boys and girls are often left to find their own recreation and
companionship in the streets,” said Roxanne Spillett, president of Boys &
Girls Clubs of America. “We’re delighted to partner with Delta and its
SkyMiles program members in an effort to further our mission to provide a
safe, positive place for young people to go for activities.”

Donations may be made via e-mail at [email protected], by calling
1-800-325-3999 or via FAX at 404-773-1945. When making a donation,
SkyMiles program members should include their SkyMiles account number, the
amount of miles to be donated and note that Boys & Girls Clubs of America
is the charity that their miles will benefit. Additional SkyWish donation
information can be found at delta.com/skymiles/use/donate.

There is a 5,000-mile minimum donation, and Delta will boost each donation
by adding 1,000 miles for every 5,000 miles contributed. SkyWish donations
are not tax deductible for Delta Air Lines or SkyMiles program members.
