bmi Announces Marketing Agencies

bmi, the UK’s second largest full service scheduled airline, has announced the roster of six agencies for below the line activity over the next year.
In a pitch that began in early April with ten agencies, the final roster of six agencies is now in place, coming into effect on 1 July 2004.Ê

The selected agencies are Design Group, Independent Marketing, Actis Limited, Partners Andrews Aldridge, TrueNorth, and Astron.Ê All have been chosen to work with the marketing team in providing creative and tactical support on all projects from integrated campaigns to simple design and print needs.

Amanda Burns, bmi head of marketing said: “The roster system gives the marketing team a great opportunity to work with a group of specially selected agencies on wide ranging projects and campaigns. Each offers a wealth of talent and expertise, not to mention a fresh outlook and exciting, innovative ideas.”

The roster system was inaugurated in the autumn of 2002 trialing an initial group of six agencies to work on below the line marketing activity. The group of agencies is reviewed on an annual basis.
