Wyndham Appoints Gosch in Acquisitions

Wyndham International, announced today the appointment of Philip A. Gosch to senior vice president, acquisitions and development, effective immediately.
In his new position, Gosch will be responsible for new business development through acquisitions, new management and franchise contracts, brand affiliation arrangements, leases and joint ventures, as well as asset dispositions.

“Phil is an example of our continuing dedication to maintain a management team with top quality professionals. He is highly skilled in analyzing and negotiating complex transactions and developing creative transaction structures,” said Joseph H. Champ, executive vice president of business development and chief investment officer. “These skills, along with his existing knowledge of the company, make him uniquely qualified for this position. We’re confident that his expertise in the legal area will serve as a solid foundation to expand his talents in business development.”

Gosch came to Wyndham in 2001 as vice president and assistant general counsel. In August 2003, he was promoted to senior vice president, chief counsel, real estate and finance, where he had primary responsibility for the legal aspects of all real estate and finance transactions and project development. Prior to joining Wyndham, Gosch spent seven years with Cahill Gordon & Reindel in New York specializing in real estate transactions with emphasis in development and finance management.

Gosch holds a B.A. in political science from the University of Nebraska and his Juris Doctor degree from the New York University School of Law.
