Expedia to power www.curacao-tourism.com
Expedia, Inc., has today announced that the Curacao Tourist Board has selected Expedia(R) Travel’s WWTE(R) private-label technology to power travel offerings on Curacao-Tourism.com. Travellers can now book a complete trip to the island on Curacao’s official tourism Web site.“Expedia Travel’s WWTE technology is an ideal partner for Curacao because
it enabled us to quickly respond to tourist demand for an easy way to book
travel while researching information about the island on our site,” said Jim
Hepple, director of tourism at the Curacao Tourist Board. “We now provide a
one-stop shop for booking vacations to the island, enabling travellers to
experience the beauty and adventure they are reading about at
Curacao-Tourism.com.”
Expedia(R) Travel’s WWTE private-label service provides online booking
technology and inventory to third-party sites, enabling organisations such as
the Curacao Tourist Board to boost the choices for people eager to visit the
world’s best destinations. With this agreement, travellers interested in
booking holiday packages, hotels, flights, car, and destination activities
can do it all on Curacao-Tourism.com.
“The Curacao Tourist Board is an important partner of Expedia(R), and this
agreement embraces our long-standing mission of helping our partners fulfill
their mission, in this case bringing travellers to Curacao,” said Barney
Harford, vice president of air, car, and private label at Expedia, Inc.
“With WWTE’s proven technology and deep inventory powering travel bookings on
Curacao-Tourism.com, we look forward to continuing our support of the Board
