On Command Begins Trial of Starz On Demand

On Command Video Corporation, a leading
provider of in-room interactive entertainment for the hotel industry and
its guests, has partnered with Starz Encore Group LLC (Starz) on a trial
to provide Starz On Demand movie packages for hotels and their guests.
Premiering in June, Starz On Demand will be available on a trial basis in
select On Command serviced hotels. Starz On Demand will offer up to 10
great Starz movies for one flat price. With Starz On Demand, On Command
brings hoteliers and their guests a fixed price on-demand viewing option
of Hollywood hit movies.

Starz On Demand grants hotel guests the ability to sample and watch the
movies in the package as often as they want until noon the next day. The
premiere monthly lineup on Starz On Demand in hotels features several
recent blockbusters including “Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the
Black Pearl,” “Finding Nemo,” “Hulk,” and “Chicago.”

“Starz On Demand is a great, new viewing option that offers hotel guests
the convenience of an on-demand movie package and ultimately, more choice
in their television viewing,” said Tad Walden senior vice president of
marketing and programming for On Command. “Starz On Demand provides us
with a way to expand our already unsurpassed movie line-up with a whole
new way of delivering movies to hotels and their guests.”

“The in-room marketplace is a logical extension for distribution of Starz
On Demand, our industry-leading subscription video-on-demand service,”
said Tom Gove, division vice president for Starz. “With a terrific partner
in On Command, we look forward to determining just how well an
attractively priced package of big, hit family-friendly movies from
Hollywood plays to business and leisure travelers on-demand.”

On Command will be demonstrating the Starz On Demand service at HITEC 2004
in Dallas June 22nd through 24th.
