If certain reports are to be believed then the ‘princess of pop’ Miss. Britney Spears could soon be giving it all up and retiring to the Caribbean island of St. Barts at the ripe old age of 22.Britney has invested in a luxurious apartment on the island.

A source told the UK based Daily Star newspaper: “People forget that she has been in the entertainment industry for 15 years already. Now she could give it all up for good. The fame is really taking its toll. She needs a bolthole away from everywhere to re-start her life and forget about the pressure”

Speaking of the Caribbean Britney said, ““I like the Caribbean and its people. They are nice and friendly. There is no stress out there. No telephones. I hate talking on the phone. I like my privacy.”
