WaterColor Inn and Resort Unveils New Full Service Spa Specialising in ‘The Art of Rejuvenation’
The St. Joe Company , recently announced the grand opening of its full service Inn.Spa.
Located in the WaterColor Inn and Resort, the Inn.Spa is the newest
addition to the luxurious Southern coastal resort and residential
community’s long list of well-appointed amenities. Just steps from
WaterColor Inn guest rooms and the sugar-white sand beaches of the Gulf of
Mexico, the Inn.Spa offers a totally indulgent experience—“the art of
rejuvenation”—designed to nourish the body inside and out.
Inn.Spa’s personalized treatments have been thoughtfully created to convey
a sense of comfort, nurturing, relaxation, and rejuvenation. Guests can
indulge in an expansive menu of treatment options in either the tranquil
environment of the spa facility or privately, in their own WaterColor Inn
guest room or resort vacation rental home.
Robes and slippers are delivered to guest rooms prior to treatment, then
guests are whisked away to a dream world of peaceful brushstrokes of
coconut milk, Noni gel, lavender elixirs, and geranium grape seed body
polish.
Pedicures are events unto themselves. Guests are seated in a
NASA-influenced “zero-gravity” chair, while their feet are treated to a
soak in a copper tub. Everything from facials to a treatment menu
specifically designed for men is available at this heavenly retreat.
“We’re thrilled to add the Inn.Spa to the growing array of services and
amenities available to our guests and homeowners,” says Rod Wilson,
president of St. Joe’s community development division, West Florida. “We
truly have a full complement—one of the most beautiful beaches in the
country, fine dining, retail shops, a boathouse, a coastal dune lake,
pools, a beach club, a Tom Fazio-designed golf course—the WaterColor
Inn.Spa adds the crowning touch.”
Drawing from the warmth and intimacy of the WaterColor Inn’s casual beach
house feel, the Inn.Spa has a distinct personality. It offers a tranquil,
intimate setting and highly effective treatments inspired by the
surrounding elements of the sea—an understated kaleidoscope of coastal
color, seaside textures, and the intoxicating smells and rhythms of the
Gulf.

The facility’s color palette consists of muted olive greens, soft blues
and the distinct yellows and oranges reminiscent of the famous West
Florida sunsets. A large bamboo water feature separates the reception from
the treatment area and delivers a soothing repetitive white-noise, so
relaxation begins the moment a guest enters the spa. Coastal influences
abound in every detail of the facility, from the soothing color scheme to
the treatment room ceilings, which, covered in rattan, echo the indigenous
sea oats and dune grasses.
The Inn.Spa features two product lines, Epicuren and Astara. Epicuren is
known for its proprietary “METADERMABOLIC” protein enzyme complex,
heralded for its unique healing qualities. Often used to treat severe
burns, this protein enzyme has a high concentration of water-soluble
protein, proven to effectively benefit aging skin.
Astara was founded on the belief that the human body is a self-healing,
self-rejuvenating organism and accordingly, the company’s products promote
the skin’s nutrition and overall wellness. Utilizing natural ingredients
such as flower essences, antioxidants and botanical extracts, Astara
products deeply cleanse, repair, oxygenate, and hydrate skin cells.
