Qatar Airways Opens New Office in Islamabad

A senior delegation of Qatar Airways representatives officially opened the airline’s new office in Islamabad earlier this week and officially inaugurated its new twice-weekly Islamabad service that began on April 1. Mr. Al Baker Chief Executive Officer, Qatar Airways expressed his delight to be in Islamabad: “I am very pleased to finally be able to open this route officially.Ê

“Islamabad represents our 49th international destination, and our fourth destination in Pakistan, after Lahore, Karachi and Peshawar.

“This route reflects Qatar Airways’ strong commitment to serve the people of Pakistan and provide a direct route from our country to the capital city of Pakistan.

“We have been intending to open this service for a long time, and it is very satisfying that we are flying into Islamabad two times per week. Together with our other regular services to Karachi, Lahore and Peshawar, we offer thirteen direct flights between Qatar and Pakistan every week,” Mr. Al Baker said.

Qatar Airways flies from Doha to Islamabad twice a week. Every Wednesday flight QR398 will leave Doha at 23.00 hrs, arriving in Islamabad at 4.30 hrs the next morning. On Sundays, flight QR398 will depart from Doha at 21.45 hrs, arriving in Islamabad at 3.15 hrs the following morning, local time.

Flight QR399 from Islamabad to Doha will leave Islamabad Airport at 5.45 hrs, arriving at Doha International Airport at 7.25 hrs, every Thursday. On Mondays, flight QR399 will leave Islamabad at 4.30 hrs, arriving in Doha at 6.10 hrs local time.
