Hotel Montgomery Announces a Couples Package

Joie de Vivre Hospitality
(http://www.jdvhospitality.com/), well-known for its creative collection
of lifestyle-oriented hotels and properties in the Bay Area, announced
today a saucy suite package, “Love Suites,” at the Hotel Montgomery in
Downtown San Jose. The “Love Suites” package includes a stay in one of the
six luxuriously appointed one-bedroom suites and special treats to inspire
nibbling (either off a plate or on earlobes). Now that it has become more
common for couples to “get out of the house” and have a romantic getaway
in their hometowns, the “Love Suites” Package will give curious South Bay
residents the opportunity to experience the elegance of the massively
renovated Hotel Montgomery firsthand. The historic building dates back to
1911 and the hotel reopening is June 25, 2004. The “Love
Suites” package includes:—One night in a one-bedroom corner suite.—
Package amenities include a bottle of chilled bubbly, decadent chocolate
truffles and “Love Sweets” from Jaqua, a couples kit containing a
buttercream frosting body cream (it smells good enough to eat), body
shimmer dust and love dice candles in a pink bakery box.—A $75 dining
voucher for the Paragon Restaurant & Bar.—Complimentary passes to the
brand-new Camera 12 movie theater located across the street.

The “Love Suites” package is $259 and will run from July 5th - September
30th, 2004. The “Love Suites” package can only be booked through Hotel
Montgomery Central Reservations: 866-823-0530. This special must be
mentioned at time of making a reservation. This special cannot be booked
online; is not applicable to groups; and is not combinable with other
offers. Does not apply to group or negotiated rates. Some blackout dates
apply.

The guestroom experience is a luxuriously authentic one, with leather-like
wall coverings, Egyptian-cotton bed linens, Burberry plaid-covered lounge
chairs and original artwork by artist Rex Ray in each room, with original
decorative pieces by San Francisco-based Ken Wingard.

The Paragon Restaurant & Bar is the South Bay’s destination for lively
casual dining. Often described as American Brasserie fare, Paragon San
Jose’s menu features rustic American favorites prepared by Executive Chef
Thomas Connolly in a simple, unpretentious manner using only the freshest
local ingredients. The restaurant also offers a large selection of
hand-shaken cocktails, outdoor patio seating and live jazz four nights a
week.

The Hotel Montgomery is also in close proximity to the San Jose Tech
Museum of Innovation, the San Jose Museum of Art and the Opera San Jose.
