Airline Snippets: United and Dutch offer increased airlift
As the Caribbean expects a strong summer season in terms of arrivals from both US and Europe United will add Montego Bay, Jamaica; Punta Cana, Dominican Republic; and St. Maarten in December. All dependent on government approval.In a clever piece of marketing the service will be launched in conjunction with United Vacations, creating holiday packages for each destination.
In other news; Dutch Caribbean Airlines, based out of Curacao, will launch three flights a week from Miami to Aruba and daily service between Miami and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, June 1.
