Francis Mayer Joins Accor Supervisory Board

Francis Mayer, Chairman and Chief
Executive Officer of Caisse des depots et consignations, has joined Accor
Supervisory Board. He was appointed today at the Annual Meeting of Accor
shareholders. Caisse des depots et consignations is one of Accor’s major shareholders.

Francis Mayer is also Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Caisse
Nationale des Caisses d’Epargne and a member of the Boards of Directors of
Casino-Guichard-Perrachon, Dexia and Veolia Environnement.

Francis Mayer, 53, graduated from France’s Ecole Nationale
d’Administration in 1979 (Promotion Michel de l’Hospital) and is “agrege”
in German. He joined the French Treasury in 1979 and was appointed Deputy
Director, Assistant Secretary for the European and International Affairs
in 1994. Elected Chairman of the Paris Club in October 1997, Mr. Mayer
became Vice President of European Investment Bank (EIB) in 1999. He has
served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Caisse des depots et
consignations since December 18, 2002.
