AFM Hospitality Name New CFO

AFM Hospitality Corporation
announced the appointment of James D. Meier as Chief Financial Officer for
this growing hospitality franchising, services, and consulting company.
Lawrence P. Horwitz, Chairman and CEO of AFM Hospitality Corporation said
“I am pleased with the addition of Jim Meier to our senior management
team. His strong finance and accounting background, his extensive
hospitality industry experience, and his experience in senior management
roles with both Canadian and US public companies should help AFM to
continue its growth; and with continued development of its internal and
external reporting. Furthermore, with our planned growth from future
acquisitions, Jim brings the skills to successfully integrate acquisitions
and assist in securing new financing sources for our planned growth.”

Meier brings a seventeen year hospitality industry background (from Night
auditor to CFO) to AFM Hospitality Corporation. Prior to AFM, he was
employed as CFO for a company in real estate development, financing, and
hospitality development and management. His experience previously has
included Corporate Controller and CFO for a Canadian Public company
involved in all aspects of hospitality throughout North America; as
Financial Reporting manager for a nearly billion dollar (US) gaming, hotel
and entertainment public company; and a publicly traded national
telecommunications provider handling accounting for a US $ 700 million
investment portfolio.

Jim is both a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Management
Accountant (CMA). His CPA exam score placed him in the Top Ten of Nevada.
A graduate of Minnesota State University, Jim also holds a Master of
Science degree in Hotel Administration from the University of Nevada - Las
Vegas (UNLV).

Meier replaces Scott Dixon who recently resigned to pursue other interests.

Meier will be relocating to Seattle from his home in Las Vegas later in
the year.
