Thrifty to Pay Commission on rentals Booked Online

Thrifty Car Rental today announced it would pay a five percent travel
agent commission on eligible corporate rate programs only when booked on
THRIFTY.com.  Effective May 1, the commission will not be paid on corporate
reservations made using other booking mechanisms.  The commission change applies to agencies worldwide for corporate customers
traveling in the U.S. or Canada.  Some exceptions may apply.

“In order to provide the best possible rental rates for our
corporate customers, it is necessary that we direct this business to
THRIFTY.com,” said Bob Thunell, Staff Vice President of National Sales for
Thrifty Car Rental.  “Agents who help us keep costs down by booking on
THRIFTY.com will earn five percent commission.”

corporately-owned locations and those of its franchise owners, the Thrifty
