UATP Elects Dirk Locascio to Board of Directors

The UATP (Universal Air Travel Plan, Inc.) board of directors has a new
member Dirk Locascio, United Airlines’ director of passenger revenue
accounting, who was elected to replace Marc Krohn on the company’s
10-member board of directors. Krohn, who has served on the board since it
was organized in 2000 has been promoted within United Airlines and
resigned from his UATP board seat.
Prior to joining United, Locascio held management positions with Deloitte
& Touche LLP and Arthur Andersen LLP. Most recently, he worked for Bank
One Corporation, where he was responsible for managing numerous process
reviews and evaluating control environments in areas such as
consolidations, general ledger operations, corporate tax, procurement, and
real estate management.

“Dirk Locascio brings many talents and connections to UATP’s management
team,” Ralph Kaiser, UATP’s president and chairman, said. “We believe that
overall, United’s UATP program, market position and capacity for customer
service will be greatly enhanced by Dirk’s inclusion on our board.”

Locascio will fill the remainder of Krohn’s unexpired term on the UATP
board. This board seat will be up for election for a two-year term in May
2005.
