China Southern Takes Delivery of 10th Boeing 777

China Southern Airlines has taken delivery of its 10th 777 aircraft from Boeing. Today’s delivery marks the 6th long-range 777-IGW aircraft in the China Southern fleet and will be primarily used on China Southern’s non-stop transpacific service between Los Angeles and Guangzhou. China Southern will be expanding its LAX-Sino 777 service to five times weekly starting March 28 and will be departing Los Angeles’ Terminal 5 every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings. China Southern Airlines is offering this service with its code-share partner Delta Air Lines.

China Southern’s brand-new, long-range 777 aircraft offers 24 upgraded Premium Business, 53 Premium Economy seats (both made by Weber) and 207 Economy seats (made by Sicma).

China Southern’s Premium Business Class seat pitch has been upgraded from the current 60” to 70” and boasts brand-new 10.4” crystal video monitors in a 2-2-2 seating configuration.
