One of the world’s foremost sites for dive enthusiasts, the pristine island of Dominica, announces that it will host “Dive Fest 2004” from Friday, July 2 to Saturday July 10, 2004.
This 9-day diving extravaganza offers both Dominicans and visitors alike the opportunity to meet and interact in a fun, congenial atmosphere with others who share an interest in aquatic adventures.

The Dominica Watersports Association is offering free Discover SCUBA and Discover Snorkeling sessions, giving participants a chance to explore the underwater world. The activities include a Whale and Dolphin Safari, Underwater Treasure Hunt, party boat cruise, a “JING PING TING” and an underwater and coastline clean-up.

The Dive Fest 2004 concludes with the Kubuli Carib canoe races cheered on by encouraging supporters for their authentic native canoes, followed by the “Con-E-Con La” village street party in the heart of Soufriere.
